This bespoke session is led by a Careers In Blue Trainer, who has had extensive experience as a Force Control Room Supervisor, Force Trainer, Interviewer and Assessor.

It will last around about 1.5 hours, depending on the tests you are doing as the course will reflect the force you are applying for.

Description

Force Control Room careers and roles vary across forces. They may be called different names across different forces but most roles will either be Contact Management Officers (dealing with 999 or 101 calls) or Dispatchers (deploying staff). Recruitment processes may involve forces inviting you for an Assessment Day / Session. You will face a variety of tests which determine if you have the skills they are looking for, some forces will also include an interview. It’s paramount to understand and prepare for any tests which you may face.

This bespoke session is led by a Careers In Blue Trainer, who has had extensive experience as a Force Control Room Supervisor, Force Trainer, Interviewer and Assessor.

They will talk you through skills, qualities, essential characteristics that these tests and interviews will test you on, as these results and your performance on the day will ultimately determine whether you are suitable for the role.

Rather than worrying about what you might face, you will be instilled with confidence and enthusiasm, ready to face what lies ahead on your policing recruitment journey.
